Session Description

Behind most negative behaviors are unmet positive psychological needs. Learn about the Process Communication Model’s six personally types, their negative attention behaviors and how to intervene positively to avert power struggles. Discover strategies you can apply to meet positive needs and reduce negative behavior in the workplace.

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe the 8 psychological needs and action plans for getting these needs met
  2. Explain how we may attempt to get our needs met through negative behavior
  3. Role-play meeting positive needs instead of engaging in power struggles by attempting to control negative behavior.
